Problem running ExtAspNet on MVC Pages

Jul 9, 2010 at 12:08 AM
I was interested in using this library as I am a big fan of ExtJS library. So I tried to add ExtAspNet controls into my ASP.Net MVC project, but when placing any of ExtAspNet controls on a ASP.Net MVC view I get an error in this line when casting: File:ResourceManager.cs Line:151 _page = HttpContext.Current.Handler as Page; After some research I found out that the MVC view are being processed by MVC handler not Page handler, so the HttpContext.Current.Handler returns an object of type MvcHandler. I also read somewhere that in MVC you don't have access to Page object. I am wondering if there is any workaround or solution for this. Thank you.

I am afraid ExtAspNet is not compatiable for Asp.Net MVC. You can try other library or use extjs directly.
